Tuesday 3rd November: 10.00-11.45AM: Bill Soens (Aughton & Ormskirk u3a) will present an illustrated talk on 'Ansel Adams, a Landscape of Life'. Ansel Adams was the most important American landscape photographer of the last century. Through his iconic images of the great American wilderness, Adams has been profoundly influential on future generations of artists, photographers, and environmentalists. Find out more about this Great Photographer at the talk in November.

Wednesday 25th November 10.00-11.45 Annual Exhibition in the Annexe at the Hall
Teams meetings: Bi-Monthly u3aEye current theme on the following Fridays between 11.00-12.00:
October and November (submission date: Midday on 19th November 2026) subject is "Starting with S".
December and January (submission date: Midday in late January 2027) subject is: "Silver & Gold"

u3a Eye runs a rolling photography project to encourage members to take and submit pictures of their surroundings. They post a different theme bi-monthly and invite members to submit their photo on that topic.
"This is not a competition and it is not only about your photographic skill – they are looking for any interesting photos and interpretations of the theme. Anything which has captured your imagination or caught your eye.
At the end of every deadline, the u3Eye team choose and publish up to 15 photos in the online gallery"
