LET’S GO CYCLING

Cycling Group 2 is a cycling group for members who enjoy a more leisurely pace of ride, mainly off road along tracks and cycle paths. We average around 12 miles per ride and a coffee or lunch stop is always a priority. We encourage all members of the group to contribute to route planning where possible.

We meet once a month on a Thursday. Dates for the following month are agreed after each ride. We meet at 10.00am

Some rides will start out at Mawdesley, other times we put the bikes in the car and meet at the venue. Locations of recent rides have included Mawdesley, Rufford, Parbold and, Burscough . We also occasionally travel out to Southport, Sefton and Crosby.

Our ride programme has started again and we have space for another 4 riders to join us. We go as fast as the slowest cyclist, no one is left behind.
