- International Work: He worked with the Council of Europe and Euroclio to train history teachers in Eastern Europe and has contributed to projects like Football Makes History.
- Specialization: His early academic interests included the "Age of Discovery," and he has also written about the human implications of information technology (e.g., People and Chips).
