The Portable Antiquities Scheme allows members of the public to report notable small archaeological finds- e.g. pottery, coins, stone tools and flints, pottery, precious objects etc. It is run by the British Museum
The Scheme Officer for Lancashire is Alex Whitlock, and Alex will give a presentation on finds from our local area.
